BUSINESS LICENSES

Hinckley Town ordinance requires a business license for any person to transact, engage in or carry on any business, trade, profession, or calling or to operate a vending, pinball or coin-operated machine.

Business license renewals for 2025 are due on or before February 1, 2025. After February 1, 2025, a 10% late fee will be atttached for up to ninety (90) days, then it will increase to a 50% late fee charge.

Any person interested in obtaining a business license through Hinckley Town must complete a business license application and submit the application along with payment for the business license to Hinckley Town.

APPLICATION FOR HOME OCCUPATION PERMIT / BUSINESS LICENSE

Home occupation businesses may be exempt from paying the annual business licensing fee but will be subject
to paying a fee for a printed Business License Certificate if requested by business owner.






The Hinckley Town Planning & Zoning Commission will review any new business license application and make a recomendation of approval or denial to the Town Council.

After the business license application is approved by the Town Council, the town clerk will issue a business license.
